Tarek graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019 with a double major in Accounting and Finance, followed by a Master of Science in Accounting in 2020. Shortly thereafter, he earned his CPA designation.

During his undergraduate years, Tarek completed internships across private companies, the oil and gas sector, and financial services. While pursuing his master’s degree, he gained valuable experience at Charles Schwab, sharpening his adaptability and analytical acumen.

His career accelerated with a Big Four internship at KPMG, where he later accepted a full-time offer. At KPMG, Tarek audited leading financial institutions within the private equity sector, developing deep expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment. He subsequently transitioned to the industry side as a Senior Fund Analyst, joining a private equity firm managing over $120 billion in assets.

Through these experiences, Tarek has cultivated a strong command of financial analysis, strategic problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

MJ graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019, followed by a Master of Science in Accounting in 2020. After completing his graduate studies, MJ joined Moss Adams—now Baker Tilly following the merger—where he built a distinguished career through late 2025.

Starting as an Assurance Intern, MJ quickly advanced to Assurance Manager in under four years, demonstrating exceptional technical expertise and leadership. He specializes in accounting, bookkeeping, and audit services, with a focus on privately held, family-owned, and private equity-backed companies 

operating across multiple countries.

MJ’s industry experience spans manufacturing, consumer products, and technology. He has led and participated in audits of financial statements and internal controls over financial reporting, including first-time audits for private companies and complex, multilocation engagements. His work also includes US GAAP implementation and advisory support for clients 

navigating evolving financial standards.
